Er, don''t be.

Ms Koppikar seems to be serious about getting Stoned, after being a disastrous Girlfriend to Amrita Arora.
1x1 polls
Trying hard to shed her item girl tag, the Khallas babe is now all (un)dressed as she gets ready to strut around Bollywood as our desi Catherine Tramell in the soon-to-be releasing Inteqam.

Borrowing heavily from Paul Verhoeven''s 1992 hit Basic Instinct, the desi thriller will see Koppikar doing some brainy stuff as celebrity writer Avantika Suryavanshi. Perched on a successful career, the rich and beautiful young girl is on a business trip to India when her friend is killed.

Our own Michael Douglas in the form of Manoj Bajpai steps in as the hot-blooded ACP Uday Thakur, while Nethra Raghuraman is the psychoanalyst. Bajpai, like Douglas is a hot-blooded officer, whose prime suspect is Avantika and much like the steamy original, Koppikar invites him to an intense mind game that leaves the Pinjar hero zapped to the core.

Directed by Pankaj Parasher, Inteqam will see the Khallas babe do more than just gyrate sexily on screen in skimpy attire. With a not-so-hot response to Krishna Cottage, Girlfriend, Ek Se Badhkar Ek and Rakht, things have not been very hot for the bombshell. With competition mounting in the form of Bipasha Basu and Mallika Shehrawat, it is time for Ms Koppikar to get her act together.

Even as Bips sheds flab to get back her Jism in ways more than one including a smiling BO status after having delivered 8 duds, Shehrawat has done a Marilyn Monroesque skirt flying scene to supplement her bimbo act in the just-released Kis Kis ki Kismet.
With peaking competition, will Koppikar be able to pull off a sexy act? Bipasha, thanks to her oomph and sexy clothes had become a sex bombshell after her seductress act in Jism, which had inspired many to do the minimalist number in order to sizzle on screen.

Koppikaar, meanwhile has to convince the audience and the box office that what Basu did, she can do better and make hearts go aflutter and testosterones running. A role that had established Sharon into prominence from the dark lanes of ignominy had also seen her cross and uncross her legs in the famous sans underwear shot, with a lit cigarette in one hand.

The lesbian act from the original, if incorporated, should not be alien territory for Koppikar, who has already had a tryst with homosexual encounter in Karan Razdan''s Girlfriend. What remains to be seen is whether Manoj Bajpai who''s not had a too-great going since Company, can do justice to the role that had seen a fine performance from Douglas. Bajpai''s last venture was Chandraprakesh Dwivedi''s Pinjar, where he had delivered a sound performance.

Verhoeven''s 1992 hit may have been Stone''s most memorable venture till date. But then, our original Khallas babe is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that she has the last laugh at the Box Office!
